Gilmanton cottage Rental Property Information
The 'Brown Camp' features 3 bedrooms which comfortably sleep 5 plus a double bed futon in the living room for 2 more. It has a big screened porch with a view of the lake, a table for dining and lots of room to just relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a microwave, coffee maker, plenty of pots and pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. Outside there is a picnic table, lawn furniture and a charcoal grill. The fireplaced living room has plenty of space to relax and includes a phone and cable TV with a DVD player. Pets Welcome!

The lake is ideal for swimming, fishing, boating or just playing in the sand on our 200 ft. of beachfront. Included is free firewood for the outdoor fire pit or indoor fireplace, use of a rowboat, canoe, paddle boat, shuffleboard, 3 piers and a raft. We are only 10 minutes from Lake Winnipesaukee and 30-40 minutes from wonderful restaurants, Loudon Speedway, Weirs beach, movie theaters, live theater and outlet shopping.

Quaint New England If it's an out of the way, quaint NH cottage you're looking for, The Brown Camp has it. This cottage was built in the late 1930's and has the old style NH architecture with french doors, added on porches and a brick fireplace yet it has the 2005 updates of Rinnai heaters, microwave oven, gas stove, 2 refrigerators and all the kitchen utensils you need including pots and pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. There are books, board games, puzzles and goodies for the kids in the welcome basket. They are clean, well maintained and perfect for that get away-from-it-all vacation but with plenty to do!
Linens You can bring your own sheets and towels or rent them from us for very affordable prices.
Boats and firewood are available free The free use of rowboats, canoes and a paddle boat are shared by the 3 cottages at Crystal Acres but yes, you can bring your own boat as well. There is plenty of mooring space. We also offer free firewood for your fireplace or the outdoor fire place.
