Wellfleet - a small town with many art galleries, restaurants, a new year-round market, and a fine modern homey library which has storytelling for kids, art displays, concerts. Local theater for adults and kids. House has high speed internet access and an excellent collection of reading material. A very family-oriented town, generations come back for quiet down-time together. Surfers come for the waves at Ocean Crest, the harbor is mainly a sailing harbor, and you can view all the beautiful, quiet harbor activity from many windows including your master bedroom. A local cleaning service is available, the house is kept spotlessly clean and is very beautiful inside and out. It is not designed as a 'party-house', but for families or couples to enjoy. In summer, day camps are at Mass.Audubon, The National Seashore and swimming lessons at Gull Pond.

Short private path to beach, fireplace in master bedroom and in living room. Broadband connection. Weber gas grill, outdoor shower. Health Club nearby has Indoor Pool, Rock Wall, tennis courts, fitness center, classes, yoga. The ideal place for a winter holiday. Air is warmer because of surrounding water, views are marvelous, fireplaces cozy, and the heating system keeps you comfortable. Walks along the beach are always fun, wild-life and birds are more visible than during the summer, and the wonderful Wellfleet Library maintains community events and a place to congregate. Some restaurants stay open and in Provincetown you can always find interesting shops and restaurants and art galleries. Hikes or rides along the Cape Cod Bike Path, ocean walks in the Province Lands near Provincetown, and other parts of the National Seashore bring the outdoors to a new level of enjoyment in any season. A nearby plus for rainy days Indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, rock wall and many other attractions for the family in nearby gym. Less than one mile from WHAT, the Wellfleet Harbor Actors' Theater, and close to a four-plex movie with rainy-day matinee performances, there is also a fine video rental store close to the house. The house has games for kids and is designed to suit adult taste as well as be comfortable for children and their parents. The path to the sandy beach is a few sandy steps down from the deck. Easy going for kids and adults. We provide sand chairs and beach toys.

Fun in the area Fun near us includes Provincetown with its art, fine dining, wonderful views, unique shopping for everyone, kayak rentals, gardens, theater and whale watching trips. Race Point is great for surf casting, kite flying and watching wonderful sunsets. Do you know The Mass. Audubon Society? It has walking trails, children's programs including day camp, and lectures, while the Wellfleet Library is a cultural center with lectures, concerts and children's programs. WHAT is Wellfleet's very own live theater, offering adult theater and kids' theater in different venues. For an easy-living vacation, our front deck is comfortably furnished, has unbelievable views, (at night you can see all the way to Boston, the top deck is for star-gazing, We provide champagne flutes. For teens there is a skate-boarding park and lively beach scene. Golfers can play at the local club, Sport-fishing charters in Wellfleet and nearby Rock Harbor. Beach-walkers delight at the base of our little path.

Great Winter Vacation House From mid-October through mid-March, this house can be your very own weekend home, or the place you go to finish that research project. Academics will find the high-speed Internet and the library system useful, and the general calm a great aide to writing. The scenery is incredible, the house is on the great migratory bird flyway and it is a full year-round residence. Call to discuss possible arrangements.
