Lake Michigan Coast A 20 minute drive will bring you to Muskegon or Whitehall area with many fine, free public beaches to chose from. In between the cities are the Muskegon and Duck Lakes State Parks with wonderful beach access (children love the stream from Duck Lake to Lake Michigan)

Shopping and Dining Up and down the coast line are resort towns such as Pentwater, Silverbeach, Whitehall, Grand Haven, and Saugetuck. All have interesting shopping, fine restaurants, and breakwalls/lighthouses.

Entertainment Lake Michigan's Adventure, the largest amusement and water park in the state, now owned by Cedar Point, is ten minutes away. The park features a huge wooden roller coaster and water rides. Great fun for a day. Silver Beach has many square miles of Lake Michigan sand dunes that you can tour from your own 4x4, rent a jeep, or take a tour ride.
