With views of Cape Cod Bay across Chequessett Neck Road in Wellfleet (map), the cottage is 100 yards from Powers Landing Beach, one mile from the town center and 1/4 mile from the Yacht and Golf Club. The cottage has a deck with views across the street to the Bay. Morning coffee and evening relaxation often find their way outside in Wellfleet. You will find yourself taking daily strolls on the beach just across the street. The sunsets over Great Island are breathtaking. The cottage has windows in the living area that look out over the view.

Boating/Fishing Sailing and kayaking can be done from the public beach across the street at tide. The bay and cove are protected but easily accessed to the open Mass Bay. Boats can be rented or you can bring your own. Fly fishing can be accessed across the street from the beach or from the Herring river. Deep sea fishing boats are readily rented. Bass and Blue fishing can be done from the Herring River Dike or via surf fishing.

Cycling/Walking The National Seashore is 2 miles down the road. The distance can be walked/ cycled or driven and parked. Wonderful vistas and colorful sunsets may be experienced.

Children's Programs During the summer the Chequessett Country Club offers a week long daily series for children of tennis lessons, sailing lessons, lunch and craft activities by arrangement at a nominal rate.
