Short stroll to town center (0.3 mi) with all the great restaurants, bars, and shopping Ogunquit has to offer (and access to the trolley) - the main beach is just beyond (another 0.2 mi) as is the entrance to the Marginal Way which leads you on a picturesque 1 mile pedestrian pathway along the rocky coast to charming Perkins Cove (more great restaurants and shops as well as access to sailing, fishing and sightseeing boat excursions). Ogunquit is also home to one of the top 10 off-Broadway theaters in the nation, the Ogunquit Playhouse - the 2008 summer season offerings include live productions of The Producers, Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables, Breaking Up is Hard to Do and My Fair Lady - as well as several matinee children's productions.
