Off season discount. Help me keep the heat on and enjoy Off Season rental fees. I am willing to rent the cottage for this price this winter because it has radiant floor heating and I have to keep the heat on no matter what!

Arts Workshops and Retreats Educators, Writers, Dancers, Yoga Retreats, Musicians, Visual Artists, Thespians Professional Organizations, Retreats, Conferences, Reunions $1,000 - $2,900 (according to dates). Chateau Mer enjoys facilities which will make your experience creative, relaxing and productive. Specifically, the cottage has a studio with fiber (4 harness and back strap looms), sculpture - found/mosaics/tiles/wood, painting, drawing and general supplies for creative team building activities. . There is a nature trail with cross country skiing in the winter and , of course, our 2 mile long Sandy Point Beach. We also have access to the Sandy Point Community Hall for large space activities such as dancing, movement, performances, yoga or theater. The Inn at French’s Point may be rented for more formal events you might plan.

We celebrated Joshua's 9th birthday here on Aug 15 we could hear seals 'talking' the night of Aug 14. A beautiful full moon rose red in the sky on Aug 19 our last night here, which we spent at the Sandy Point Community Center for an Ice Cream Social, talent show, and sing along. Student Art Week June 6 -18 2008 Sandy Point Art School 2008 for Students Ages 9-12 Dr. Barbara Bridges, professor of philosophy, art and education and 15 year veteran K-12 art teacher, sets aside one week a year for Student Art Week. The Sandy Point Arts Retreat for students ages 9-12 is designed to be a life changing experience. Barbara incorporates philosophy (of art and life), intensive critical and creative thinking activities, collaborative and individual art making designed to connect to each participant’s abilities and interests, creative exercise, day trips, beach time, and culminates with a community feast and art show. Fiber, sculpture, painting, drawing, creative digital software and general supplies for creative activities. Participants are chosen by application and scholarships are available. Tuition, room, board and most supplies: $1,500.00. Two apprentice appointments are open for one female and one male age 16-19. One apprentice appointment is available for one art education college student.
Other Activities August 15, 22 and August 29 are available for $1500 for this 2009. Sep $1000 a week. Take advantage of the economic downturn!!
