Eden Mountain Hide-A-Way offers a unique opportunity for nature lovers and those seeking a time away from it all for reading, walking, hiking, relaxation, painting, sketching, un-stressing, renewal, thinking, biking, meditating, bird watching, and just kicking back. This seventy-five acre property of picturesque open fields with wonderful views and woodland joins three thousand acres of Vermont, pristine, protected wilderness. Our new two mile access road gives guests auto accessibility to our remote get-a-way that Henry David Thoreau would have made home. We offer two unique, cozy homes that are lovingly furnished and decorated with all modern conveniences – full kitchens, baths, internet, laundry, DVD and covered porches to relax and unwind on. Modern comfort in a beautiful country and peaceful wilderness environment. Come hear the birds sing, see the sunrises and sunsets and the many stars in the night-sky year round.

Our Eden Mountain Hide-A-Way is located off -route 100, considered one of the most scenic routes in the U.S. We are in North-Central Vermont just south of the Canadian border near the Northeast Kingdom. In addition to our paradise, the pleasures of country and/or fine dining, antiquing, shopping, Vermont crafts, music, museums, as well as massage, day spa, skiing, canoeing, golf, fishing, Ben and Jerry’s, creamie stands, seasonal farmer’s markets, Country Fairs, covered bridges, old General Stores, and blueberry picking and other fun activities are nearby. We are just forty-five minutes from Stowe, sixty minutes from the historic city of Burlington, Lake Champlain and the capital, Montpelier and near many, quaint Vermont villages and hamlets, like Craftsbury, that you may enjoy exploring. And if you are up for something really unique, we offer our sled and carting adventures year round with our fun, loving sled dog family.

Our cozy rental homes are unique and one of a kind. Thea two story Larkspur (Log Home) is a step back in time with log and wood interior, antiques, interesting and comfortable furniture. The Floxglove (Guest house) is spacious, with lots of hand crafted wood paneling, wide board floors and high ceilings, all on one floor for those with access challenges and has two full baths. Each have full, modern kitchens with dishes, pots and pans, microwaves, full size Fridges, stoves and dishwashers and each have full size washers and dryers. Both homes are great for private retreats and/or gatherings of family, friends, get-to-gathers, corporate or personal growth group seminars and retreats.
