Great retreat for yoga, artists, churches, etc. About 15 minutes from Killington Skyeship, Okemo/Jackson Gore, Bear Creek and Woodstock. Farm house on the VAST Snowmobile Trail and minutes away from snowmobile rental. Once, the Snowy Owl Lodge, its many large comfortable rooms make it a relaxing home away from home. Large fully equipped kitchen, large dining room, two full baths, two half baths, extra shower in spa room, game room, laundry room, patio & gas grill. Plenty of parking. Store bicycles/snowmobiles in huge barn. From your front door, bike, hike, mountain bike, snowshoe, snowmobile into a state park or just ride the scenic roads by the house. Great golf courses, boating, fishing, swimming, Alpine Slides, etc.

Perfectly situated between Okemo and Killington, the two best ski mountains in Vermont, makes an ideal location for winter and summer fun. The mountains offer all the winter sports and in the summer they have the great golf courses, water slide, and mountain bike riding on top of Killington. The house is on a snowmobile trail and next to a state park for hiking, mountain biking, x-country skiing, pan for gold and find ruins or you can take a long walk over to the Calvin Coolidge Homestead. Minutes away are the lakes for swimming, boating and fishing. Ten to fifteen minutes can put you on Long Trail or take you to beautiful Woodstock with its Billings Farm Museum, art galleries, fine restaurants, and shops. Also close to Appalachian Trail and rock climbing. In the other direction (30 min+) is the charming village of Weston with its country stores, Inns for fine dining and the Weston Playhouse. Come in the fall and enjoy the beautiful foliage. A great area to come to play or relax.

There are so many things to do in the area and upon booking the house, you will receive brochures, maps, and suggestions for the season you have chosen. And whatever the adventure you choose for the day during your stay, you will enjoy coming back to the warmth and charm of an old country farmhouse and relax with your friends and family around the fire while you swap stories of the days events. A great way to spend a week or weekend. 5 Bedrooms plus loft. Upstairs: Bedroom 3 - 1 queen & 2 twins; Bedroom 4 - set of bunkbeds & 1 twin; Bedroom 5- 1 queen & 4 twins; Loft - 1 queen and 1 twin. Downstairs: Bedroom 1 - 1 queen; Bedroom 2 - trundle bed (sleeps 2). Also, 3 Aero beds & 2 fold-out beds.
Skiing Information: The house is between Okemo-Jackson Gore and Killington. Also close to Bear Creek, Suicide Six and Pico.
Golf Information: Near Killington Golf, Woodstock and Okemo courses.
