VERMONT AT ITS BEST. Perfect for getaways, reunions or multi-family vacation any time of year. Enjoying swimming, kayaking, boating in near by Lake Elmore or play golf at two nearby courses. Walk and climb in Elmore State park. Visit Stowe and other nearby attractions. Or sit and read a book in one of the many quiet areas. Cook up a great dinner in the large open kitchen (there is a second kitchen also). With 6 (or 7) separate bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 5 showers and 3 bath tubs the compound comfortably sleeps up to 17 in summer. Bring the well-behaved dog. 18 minutes from Stowe or Montpelier. While a rural setting, Super markets, hospital, movies, restaurants and shops are minutes away. You can spend the day on the nearby Lake or on the mountain trail in the state park. Or maybe you want to search antique stores for that special thing for your home. Need rest, curl up with a book in of the retreat many quiet reading areas. The greater Lake Elmore-Stowe-Montepelier area has it all. Visit Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, glass blowing and pottery workshops. With many movie and restaurant choices in Stowe and Montpelier. Though the retreat is rural a good hospital and supermarket are minutes away in Morrisville. Burlington International Airport is 55 miles away with non-stop flights to New York, Boston, DC, and Chicago.

ALL YEAR AROUND RETREAT Whatever the season there is a great deal to do in and around Lake Elmore and Stowe. Outdoor or indoor activities are everywhere. Swim, play golf, ride a horse, climb a mountain or just sit and watch a ball game on Direct TV. It's all here at the retreat and in northern Vermont
Rural but near Shopping, antiques, movies Equal distance (19miles) from great shopping and antiquing in either Montpelier or Stowe. Just 55 minutes to Burlington, which may be the best little city in America. There are 9 movie screens with 20 minutes of the retreat
Bring the dog This is a dog friendly place. They love to race in the snow-and make you catch them. As long as the dog is well behaved, he/she is welcome.
