State parks and beaches (Popham and Reid); kayaks can be launched from the yard. Many summer fairs and special events in the area. Music and theater performances at Bowdoin College and the Maine State Theater in Brunswick. A variety of seafood and other restaurants nearby, many in picturesque locations. Kids love to explore the rocks and catch crabs. Lobsters can be purchased straight out of the water at the local lobster pound, Watson's General Store. Cundy's Harbor is a gem; you'll love the restaurant on the wharf, the gift shop and the general store.
