Boat Ramp and Fishing Wells has a free public boat ramp on Algonquin Drive. Bring your boat, put it in the water at the ramp and tie it up to the dock at the house for the length of your stay. The lake has yellow perch, sunfish, bass, nice chain pickerel, and northern pike. You can also go up the river which feeds the lake for more fishing. The water is about four feet deep at the end of the dock. Each evening one or two local fishermen will drift by hoping to catch that big one.
