One of 4 units known as the Beach Garden Cottages. (See links at very bottom of page to view other cottages.)This is a newly renovated, charming 2 bedroom cottage. There is a gas fireplace, hardwood floors, ceiling fans, full bathroom and kitchen. It is very clean, bright and comfortable. The cottage has a private deck surrounded by flowering perennial beds and a large, shared, fenced-in yard - great for kids. It is on a quiet side street and only a short walk to Newport's Eastons Beach (a.k.a. First Beach). First Beach has public facilities, a carousel, playground, skateboard park and twice weekly evening entertainment. Restaurants are within walking distance and downtown Newport is only 1.5 miles away. References from previous guests available.

Along with an indoor shower, there is an outside 'after-swim' shower with hot water for rinsing after beach.
