The house has been totally and beautifully redone but retains the charm of a Maine 'camp.' Works wonderfully for families. One MBR downstairs and 3 bedrooms up., plus 1 queen-size sleeper sofa in winter, 2 in summer. Boathouse with a sleeper couch and children's theater; player piano;, books, puzzles, and games galore. Kayaking Canoeing Rafting.. Self contained wonderful vacation spot, with views and seating areas everywhere. Great waterfront in a protected cove, on a pretty extra clean lake; great swimming for all ages. We're wireless! Garden. Filled with touches to make this rental super special.

Further Details for the house in Western Maine, Maine, USA

Sadly, our own family won't be using Greenwood much this year which opens it up more for renters. We've rented for over 20 years and people have been extremely happy with this special spot in a wonderful house. It's so comfortable and relaxing once you arrive that most people stay on the property most of the time, even though there are many activities and resturants in the area. Nearby Bethel is considered one of the prettiest villages in the state, and because of the 4 season appeal has both the beauty of its natural surroundings plus many fine restaurants and numerous other amenities.

We love this property and seek renters who will enjoy its serenity and respect the great effort we've taken in its care. It is terrific for 3 generations, young families, couples who appreciate the private scenic setting, but we do have good neighbors, and want to keep it that way. There are so many wonderful outdoor activities but if you get stuck inside for whatever reason, you will love the coziness and bright, warm atmosphere of this lovely scenic home.
