  • ***SOME COMMENTS FROM GUESTS:***Michel, Well . . . the 'Sunset House' on 'Sunset Beach' lived up to its name, by playing audience to several spectacular sunsets! This has by far been our best trip to the islands; and it sure beats those 5-star hotels. The Sunset House, and all of the things it offered, really made this a very special vacation. Although we are saddened to leave this tropical paradise; we know we will see the Sunset House next year, with an entirely different set of sunsets and good times. The Ostrosky Family, Orange, California******AND MORE!**** . . . Great weather, perfect waves, whales, the green spark at sunset. Warm ground and cool waters everyday. Four or five extra pounds, all those books we've been trying to read for months, Primo Beer . . . I'm sure we have a life back on the mainland; work children, etc., and if we don't leave now, we may not be able to make the transition back to real life. See you in the fall. Ken and Louise Bowers

The downstairs queen master bedroom looks out to the volleyball court and beach and ocean. Both of the other bedrooms feature views of the lush greenery and mountains behind the home. The jungle like foliage comes down from the mountains and surrounds the home creating a unique feeling of privacy while looking out at the spectacular vistas of Sunset Beach, which is one of the most famous and romantic beaches on Oahu, and certainly in all of Hawaii.

The home features 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, 2 additional bedrooms each with 2 twin beds. Large spa on the deck overlooking the beach and ocean. The outside double headed 'after-swim' hot /cold shower is every body's favorite after a swim or a dip in the spa. I have my own private volleyball/ badminton court alongside the house. Large decks. Privacy. Fabulous views. There are binoculars to watch the whales and dolphins as they swim by. More Amenities / Activities Virtually every water sport known to man is located near my home. The Turtle Bay Hilton is about 5 miles away from the house in the other direction, and they have 2 golf courses, horseback riding, and a disco. There is a Foodland supermarket about 1/2 mile from the house. All the island activities, from hang gliding to scuba diving, and polo matches to jet skies are all just minutes away from my home. The home also has digital security and an electronic safe for your valuables. The kitchen is custom crafted in local island Koa hardwood & has every appliance you can think of, and of course there is a Telephone, DSL Wireless Internet, Free Long Distance Calling, Washer/Dryer, Iron, and all the other items you would commonly find in your own home. Amenities: Binoculars so you can enjoy whale watching (the whales migrate as close as 100 yards offshore). Also, there are dolphins and giant sea turtles that cruise and play right in front of the house. For your viewing pleasure the living room has a 46” Flatscreen HDTV featuring all the movie channels with stereo DVD, and there are Flatscreen TV/DVDs in all the bedrooms. Private volleyball/badminton court. Totally private outside shower with hot & cold running water (has two shower heads). Large spa on the deck, overlooking the ocean. The Kitchen is custom crafted in local island Koa hardwood & has every appliance you can think of. Also, for all you gourmet chefs, we feature a 6 burner gas stove, a unique item because there is no gas supply on the North Shore and all the other homes supply only electric stoves. There is also a Digital Security System and Electronic Safe for your valuables. All You Have To Do Is Bring Your Smile And A Swimsuit To Have A Great Time!

MORE COMMENTS FROM GUESTS! The Sunset Beach House has been our home for almost a month and we all could stay longer. Scott and I came by ourselves for the first two weeks and then our 5 children and 2 friends flew over to join us for the remainder of our stay. The sunsets are beautiful and we got to see moon rays during the a.m. hours of the full moon. We've seen sea turtles and lots and lots of tropical fish. We loved the outdoor shower, especially during an afternoon rain. The many birds have been a true delight and our children coveted the feeding job. Scott and I enjoyed the solitude and the sparsely populated beach; having such privacy spoiled us. Mahalo and Aloha, The Hamon Family and Friends****AND YET MORE***Our third stay at Sunset Beach House. When one finds their sacred place why go anywhere else?! Golf Information: Golfing is a major attraction in Hawaii, and there are many wonderful golf courses on Oahu, but the very best is only 5 miles from my home, and it is located at the Turtle Bay Hilton. Designed by Arnold Palmer, Mark Rolfing the Golf Anaylyst says 'The Palmer course is the best course on Oahu'.
