  • Age Requirement & Responsibilities:
    The primary registered Guest on the Rental Agreement must be at
    least 25 years of age and must be staying at GVC for the entire
    length of stay.

    Cancellations & Changes & Security Deposit:
    Cancellations or changes made more than 45 days in advance will
    receive a full refund less cancellation fee of $30. Cancellations
    or changes made between 30 to 45 days in advance forfeit an amount
    equal to one night’s stay. Cancellations or changes made less than
    30 days in advance forfeit the full amount paid. Every effort is made to fill your canceled dates. If we are successful you may move your reservation to a comparable season for only $30 cancel fee and the difference (if any) in your existing booking and the new replacement booking.

In the quaint kitchen, discover old fashioned charm and modern convenience. 1940 oven, stove and refrigerator. 1940's reproduction coffee percolator, vintage dishes, antique kitchenware and Gertrude's original farmhouse sink! The counter top is made from a thick slab cut of a 400 year old tree! Slip into a soothing bubble bath and authentic light fixtures, the original claw foot tub and shower. Or tip toe outdoors to the new hot tub with its own private river view. Snuggle into luxurious comfort. Queen beds are dressed in fresh linens, down and velvet with early 1900 style art nouveau headboards and foot boards. Extra bedding is stored in the antique 100 year steamer trunk. Feel like a kid in a tree fort! The kids call it the 'Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer Room!' The two twin beds are in their own hideaway room overlooking the river. They are wrapped in quilted velvet by Tiffany lamp light. There is a great view of the moon rising over the river! A peaceful sleep awaits.
