Deer Isle house Rental Property Information

Originally built in 1912, this one-time farmhouse has been lovingly restored and is fully furnished and equipped. Gardens surrounding the house and wonderful water views make sitting on the porch a pleasure. Located on 1 1/2 acres with tidal beach on East Penobscot Bay. A creek runs through the property and ends on the edge of the beach. Two tandem kayaks a single kayak and canoe (with related equipment) are provided so you can explore the waters around Little Deer Isle. Well behaved pets are permitted.

Tidal beach for swimming, boating (3 kayaks and canoe provided), collecting mussels, or digging clams. Porch and hammock with lovely water views. Observe Sea Osprey, loons and seals right in the cove. Wonderful walks nearby on the Island's nature preserves. Haystack School of Art is nearby as well as numerous galleries and antique stores. Golf course nearby welcomes golf and tennis players. Use our telescope to view the heavens!
