Lake Tarpon is world known for its fishing and is lined with some beautiful state parks, with trails, BBQ areas, boating and viewing towers. The 'Greek' sponge docks of Tarpon Springs and the lovely marinas of Dunedin are also very close by. For those coming for golf, Palm Harbor has the championship course of Innisbrook and numerous other great courses close by. For sporting fans, the area now has the Phillies spring training ground within a few minutes drive. For those seeking 'more to do' Clearwater Beach is just a 10 minute drive away.
