Bar Harbor cabin Rental Property Information

Originally built as a hunting lodge, this log cabin retains its Maine charm. The Lodge sits high on a knoll, tucked away on the shore of Hamilton's Pond. The wrap around porch- partially screened- is great for entertaining or can be a quiet spot to read. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, with a double bed and a double futon, plus a full bath. the living and dining room share a massive granite fireplace, and a nook with computer. The sunny eat-in kitchen is spacious and warm. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a queen bed, full bath, and an air conditioner. The property leads down to Hamilton's Pond where there is a dock, canoes, and catch and release fishing. Horses graze in the adjoining fields, and geese round out the farm atmosphere. Gardens abound with perennials and annuals. Eagles and osprey circle over Hamilton's Pond- the area is alive with nature.
