Beach, Beach, Beach 1st Beach or Easton's Beach: 200 yards from house: Concession stand, outdoor showers, old fashion Carousel, Discovery Museum, changing cabanas, play ground w/ picnic tables, parking area, volley ball nets, skate board park, music concerts during Summer months every Tues night, Thurs night family night w/ kids activities. 2nd Beach or Sachuest Beach (spectacular beach with a concession stand & showers); Sachuest National Park (hiking trails & nature center)& Norman Bird Sanctuary (hiking trails, nature center)are only 3 mins drive. 3rd Beach: Located facing Sakonet Point. A calm beach perfect for small children. A boat ramp, sailboat and kayak rentals make third beach a perfect option on windy days. Newport harbor front is a nice 2 mile walk.
