The landscape is lovely during any time of year, and visiting to see the fall foliage or falling snow will mean plenty of quality time spent cozying up in front of the fireplace, too. This region is known as “The Quietside” for good reason - you’ll only be about 15 minutes from busy Bar Harbor so sampling the buzz will be no big deal, but you’ll never feel stuck in a crowd if you don’t want to be.
