Lake Anna house Rental Property Information
This charming, lakefront home on a quiet cul-de-sac with a secluded, private cove is perfect for your family vacation or a romantic getaway for two. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine as you relax in the Virginia countryside surrounded by trees. The large deck is a great setting for an evening around the gas grill, enjoying your favorite beverage, catching every gorgeous minute of a lake side sunset. Sip your morning brew in a comfy rocker on the full-length front porch or take a break on the screened-in porch, complete with a hammock. Indoors, you'll find all the comforts of home, a wood burning fireplace, an outstanding selection of DVDs and paperback books as well as Foosball, darts, and board games. The lakeside fire pit and deck with table are made for fixing s'mores and a picnic. Swim off of our pier or head to the state park and enjoy their beach. We have a community boat launch and four full-service marinas nearby. Our large dock will accommodate tie up for most any craft.
Location
Lake Anna is approximately 25 miles from Fredericksburg and has 250 miles of shoreline and 13,000 acres of surface water and is conveniently located to Richmond, Charlottesville, southern Maryland, the Shenandoah area, and Washington DC. There are many great wineries in the area and the golf courses are as beautiful as they are challenging: Meadows Farms (includes an 841 yard par 6), Lee's Hill Golf Course, and Tanyard Country Club. The Central Park oasis of retail shops and restaurants, including the six-acre Funland, and Paramount’s King’s Dominion Park are both less than one hour from the house. Lake Anna State Park has 11 trails that wind their way through 13 miles of forested terrain and a huge sandy beach and rental boats. There are also several marinas nearby that rent a wide variety of watercraft. The lake is a year round fishery with large or small mouth bass, crappie, walleye, blue gill, and bream.
