Goodview house Rental Property Information

We want you to enjoy our home as much as we have! After a hectic week at the office you can sit on the huge deck under the stars and have a glass of wine while listening to the gentle lapping of the waves on the beach. We have a blue heron that stays in our cove and Canada geese that fly in formation down the main channel just outside of our quiet cove. The humming birds love to visit our feeders and inspect the guest, while the goldfinches, bluebirds, chickadees, and blue martins call 'Four Generations' home. We are a 'Certified Wildlife Habitat' by the National Wildlife Federation. .We have a deep water cove where fishermen love to snag that catfish or large mouth bass and children come to swim. Let us give you the tour and I just bet you'll want to stay, where you have every convenience close at hand. This property is located between marker R32 and R32A in Bedford County and is centrally located (within 10 minutes) to stores, restaurants, marinas, gas stations, etc.

Nestled in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Smith Mountain Lake has developed a reputation as a premier vacation destination. Spread out over three counties in southwest VA, this man-made lake covers approximately 21,000 acres, and has over 500 miles of shoreline, Among the many water activities at SML are power boating, canoeing, sailing, parasailing, swimming, fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and jet skiing. The SML lakefront includes seven public boat launching sites and many public and private marinas. Other attractions include 3 public and 2 private golf courses and historic Booker T. Washington National Monument and the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA about 20 miles away. The picturesque scenery of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Science Museum of Western VA and Amazement Square are also offered nearby.

Golf Information: Westlake Golf-off State Route 122 about 20 minutes from the property Mariners Landing Golf-about 25 minutes from the property. London Downs-Forest, VA is about 40 minutes on State Route 811 off of US 460. Hanging Rock-Salem, VA is about 1 hour from property. All are very nice public courses. Challenging to play and reasonably priced.
