What a wonderful cabin. Welcome to A Mountain Joy! Our newly built Log Home is nestled in a peaceful wooded mountain setting. Located in a prestigious, well-kept, gated community with paved roads. Elegantly 'rustic' decor adorns the three bedroom, three full baths and large loft of our 2,000 sq. ft. three-story log home. Ideal for any large or multi-family retreat. Mountain Joy has all the amenities for one to unwind. Enjoy your cooking experience in our enormous kitchen, fully equipped with all the modern appliances and kitchenware you will need to feed! Cozy up near the wood burning fireplace while being entertained by one of two satellite TV's VCR/DVD players and WiFi DSL. Walk to the picnic playground area or take a hike on one of the many hiking trails. Visit the nearby trout pond and streams to enjoy nature at its finest! Or sit back and relax on one of two large covered decks overlooking mountain views while watching the hummingbirds frolic & play.

Or go to the 'big city' of Asheville, only 30 miles away. While this is a non-smoking house, we do allow small pets. In order to prevent separation anxiety-induced damage from your usually well-behaved companion, we ask that you either take your pets with you or crate them when they're left alone. 'Whether it be summer, winter, spring or fall; activities abound for one and all. If you are traveling from far or near; We hope you will comeback year after year.
