Brief description:This three bedroom, two bath brand new cabin in the Paradise Valley literally looks out over the Yellowstone River. Bald eagles can be seen quite often in the cottonwood grove across the river. Guests can walk out the door and go fishing or floating right from the house! The home has a tasteful, western style with beautiful wood and tile floors and some unique artwork to enjoy.

Size of the home: The home is about 1200 square feet.

Bedrooms and baths: The master bedroom is downstairs, with a queen size log bed, and a full bath with a stall shower. Up the spiral staircase leads you to two more bedrooms upstairs. There is one bedroom with a queen size log bed, and another bedroom with a log frame bunk bed for the kids. A full bath with tub and shower is shared by these two bedrooms. There is also a portable mattress that can be set up if the sleeping arrangements require it. The home can accommodate up to six guests.

Kitchen and dining area: The complete kitchen, with dishwasher, range, microwave and all the cookware is open to the dining area and living room. The dining room table will seat six, or head on out to the deck and enjoy your meal while enjoying the river view. There is a gas barbecue on the deck for outdoor cooking.

Living room Cozy and comfortable furniture, views out to the river, a television with VCR and satellite service, stereo with cd and cassette player, and a gas fired woodstove -- everything you could need!

Setting, acreage, views: Yellowstone Lookout is in a small neighborhood of homes in a beautiful Paradise Valley setting. Access to the house is via a dirt road the last mile or so. The cabin has private river frontage and wonderful views of the Absaroka Mountains. The main highway through the Paradise Valley, Route 89, is within sight of the home - across the river and some fields from the home.

Services available: An end of stay cleaning is complimentary. If you happen to be staying two weeks or more, a weekly cleaning will be done. Additional housekeeping, as well as catering, and grocery shopping can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.

Activities nearby: Fishing on the Yellowstone River is literally out the back door. Rent a driftboat, canoe or raft and plan your own adventures on the Yellowstone. Other nearby activities include hiking, biking and horseback riding, and Yellowstone Park, just 40 minutes away. Chico Hot Springs with world class dining and great soaking is just a few minutes down the road. The town of Livingston is 20 minutes away with a great selection of restaurants, galleries and shopping and Bozeman is just over the hill. Winter visitors can enjoy cross country skiing in the beautiful Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone Park. There is so much to do!

Distance to airport: The Bozeman airport is about an hour drive from the cabin.

Guest capacity: The cabin can accommodate a maximum of six people.

Other details: No smoking is allowed in the home. No pets are allowed on the property or in the home without prior written approval from Mountain Home. There is a private phone, television with satellite service and VCR, and laundry facilities for guests. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, and include good quality kitchen, bath and bed linens, and staples like paper goods, dish and hand soaps.
