Deer Isle - Stonington cottage Rental Property Information

This secluded, newly renovated cottage is located on five wooded acres, with 350 feet of rocky, deep-water, shorefront -- in the Oceanville section of Stonington, on the beautiful island of Deer Isle. This picturesque fishing and sailing community has changed little during the past 100 years. A new, knotty pine 20 x 20-foot bedroom with vaulted ceiling and skylight was constructed recently. Special features include pre-finished hardwood floors, braided rugs, and large Anderson windows along the front of the cottage overlooking beautiful South East Harbor. There is a newly constructed bathroom and baseboard-heat throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a king-size bed in the bedroom, with two twin beds in the loft, and a sofa bed in the large living room (20 by 20 feet). Lobsters and crabs are available by contacting the local caretaker/lobster fisherman. Or you can walk to the shore and pick up mussels -- or do your own clamming.
