| Notes: | We have furnished the villa to the highest of standards. Our light and spacious villa has vaulted ceilings, & is fully carpeted/tiled throughout. Our lounge area is modern, comfortably furnished and has 42 in LCD cable TV/VCR/DVD. Our large fully equipped kitchen (with a separate laundry room) has every appliance you will need - microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, US style fridge/freezer (with ice making facility) & an electric kettle! There is also a breakfast bar area and dining area overlooking the pool & lanai. Our master bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, dresser, TV/DVD & phone, with en-suite master bathroom with walk in shower & his/her washbasins. We also have a queen bedroom & a twin bedroom with bathroom - bath and shower. We have supplied everything you will need (including all bedding, linens, hairdryers - (even towels, chairs and umbrella for beach use) so that you can enjoy your vacation time in our villa and in Cape Coral. Location Cape Coral is ideally suited for everyone, whether you just want to relax by the pool, do a bit of shopping, go to the many beaches, play golf, swim, fish or sail. Our villa is perfectly located for all of these activities. The shopping malls of Tanger, Cononut Point, Miromar, Bell Tower & Edison are all within easy driving distance and great for picking up designer bargains.As well as that, you can actually walk from our home to some local restaurants and bars, so if you have been out driving all day, you can leave the car at home and walk to these. Nearby there are Walgreen drugstores, a 24-hour Wal-Mart, Publix, Winn-Dixie, TJ Maxx and the Coralwood Mall containing various stores and a multiplex cinema. We have many guests who have commented on how close we are to some wonderful beaches in the area, including Sanibel, Captiva, Ft Myers beach and Bonita beach.The airports of Ft Myers, Tampa & Miami are the closest, but also easy travelling from Orlando and Sanford
Sporting activities There are golf courses in abundance in Cape Coral (47 just in the near vacinity), some only minutes from the villa, and the choice is endless -so pick your tee time and be assured of a leasurely round. If you enjoy water sports, you can hire wave runners, do para-gliding, hire a boat, hire a guide and boat and go fishing for red snapper. There are also numerous tennis courts, football parks, cycle tracks and play areas - that's without mentioning the Sun Splash waterpark or a day on safari to the Everglades - enough to keep the whole family active! Hire bikes (or use ours) from various hire companies across the area. We also have details on a day's boat hire which allows you to explore the many islands and waterways around SW Florida - drop into Rumrunners for lunch or dinner!
Restaurants You can walk to some from the villa - you can choose from casual eating to fine cuisine, so whatever your taste, you will find something that hits the spot - be it a steakhouse, tex mex, chinese, fast food or real american diners. Within Cape Coral, and within 10 minutes drive of the villa you are near restaurants such as The Outback Steakhouse, Applebees, Iguana Mia, Dennys, Bob Evans, Carrabas and Houlihans - offering both bar and restaurant service and have great food in a relaxing atmosphere. Visit the Prawnbroker restaurant in Ft Myers and enjoy the best fish and seafood in the area - with discounted cocktails and complementary appetizers during happy hour. Also in Ft Myers are Red Lobster, Chillis and the Lone Star Steakhouse. Sample the restaurants of Captiva and Sanibel and treat yourself to fine dining in Dolce Vita with nightly entertainment.If you want to just walk to a restaurant - no problem - we have a few lovely ones (Southside Grill) just a 5 minute stoll from the villa
