Palm Desert house Rental Property Information

Our two-bedroom/two-bath condo offers a peaceful and quiet retreat -- with as much golf and tennis nearby as one could possibly want. Chaparral Country Club is a gate-guarded community located on 211 acres, on Portola Avenue. It's between Hovley and Chaparral Drive -- within easy reach of downtown Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage. An 18-hole executive golf course winds its way through the residential area. Other facilities include a 15,000 square-foot clubhouse, nine tennis courts (drop-in tennis is welcome), 21 swimming pools, and spas. A pool and spa are literally steps away from our condo. The staff at Chaparral is friendly and professional -- whether at the restaurant or the Pro Shop. The condo has been newly furnished within the past two years. Enjoy barbecuing on the spacious and private patio. There is a TV in the living room. The master bedroom has a flat-screen TV and a VCR; while the den has a TV with DVD. We have a small collection of books available in the den.

Our unit is a five minute drive to El Paseo Drive, the McCallum Theater, and the The River. We are a short drive to the Living Desert, a fabulous experience for young and old. Another attraction, The Street Fair, held on the campus of The College of the Desert is a five minute drive. We are a two minute drive to the Marriott Desert Springs Resort. The unit has been completely painted in October 2008 and shutters installed in the master bedroom, guest bedroom and kitchen.

The fully-equipped kitchen is cheerful, and offers good work space. The linens are kept in a hall closet that is well stocked. The laundry room is just off the garage. The condo offers 1,731 square feet of living space. There is air-conditioning for the warm weather; and there's a gas fireplace for the cool nights. There are ceiling fans in the master bedroom and den. And there are Mexican pavers throughout the condo. The condo is conveniently located close to shopping, cultural events, churches, and outstanding medical facilities. Shopping is less than ten minutes away at Paseo Drive or the Westfield Mall. If tennis is your passion, book in March for the Pacific Life Tennis Tournament at Indian Wells...again approximately 15 minutes away. Excellent restaurants are close by at The River or along Highway 111. For the outdoor enthusiast, Joshua Tree National Park is about thirty minutes away, and for the truly adventuresome, there are at least three Casinos in the immediate area.

Golf, of course, is a given, with at least 100 courses in the valley. The McCallum Theatre is close by with an excellent program of concerts and plays. Life is good in Palm Desert. The condo is located in an outstanding country club, well-known for its friendly atmosphere. And it offers a comfortable ambiance to all who visit. Our family enjoys it, and we would like you to, as well.
