  • Christmas, New Year and Easter are charged at €4,250 per week
    Maid service is included for 8 hours per week. Extra maid service is available on request but not available on Sundays. The charge is €9 per hour. Babysitting is available on request. A welcome hamper is provided on arrival. All linen and towels, including one pool towel per person, is provided. Cot bedding is not provided. A security deposit of €700 is required against breakage or damage. Meals can usually be arranged (details on request) .   • All bathrooms have twin basins except for Bathroom 4 and they all have heated towel rails. In two of the bathrooms as well as a shower there is also a bath. In the master bedroom as well as a large shower room there is a glamorous roll top bath within the bedroom. Each bathroom and bedroom is individually decorated and all are provided with plenty of towels and luxurious Penhaligon's toileteries.

  • There are three double bedrooms plus three bedrooms which can be either doubles or twins. All have en suite bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has an adjoining ante room with a day bed suitable for a child and Bedroom 6 has a sofa bed in an adjoining open plan living area. Two of the bedrooms are situated in the main house with the other four spread over the separate ancillary buildings. All bedrooms either have direct access to the gardens or their own terraces or balcony. We also have two travel cots available. All bedrooms have fans and three of them are also air conditioned.

There are six double bedrooms - master bedroom with roll top bath within the room as well as en suite shower room; two further bedrooms have both bath and separate showers. The three remaining bedrooms have showers. Three of the bedrooms can be twin or double. Two travel cots and two high chairs are available. Master bedroom has an ante-room with a day bed. One double bedroom has a living area with a sofa bed. The main kitchen is equipped for entertaining for large numbers - two dishwashers, a large range cooker, fridge/freezer, two additional fridges; ice machine., electric mixers etc. A separate laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers. Full central heating and double glazing throughout and open fires in principal house. Complimentary organic seasonal produce available from the garden and a small 'bodega' stocked with a selection of wines for guests to purchase. 2 bicycles, 4 tennis rackets, and 2 sets golf clubs provided. English speaking staff in adjacent cottage.

Local attractions Finca La Morera is surrounded by stunning countryside where there is something for everyone. The medieval, Moorish city of Ronda is close by with its historic attractions, museums and galleries and an abundance of small bars and restaurants - including one with a Michelin star. The famous bullring is one of the oldest in Spain. It's museum charts the history of bullfighting and a few times during the year bullfights are still held. The historic city of Granada with the glorious Alhambra is an interesting day trip with a train service from Ronda taking about two hours. Jerez, famous for its sherry bodegas and Andalucian dancing horses, makes an interesting excursion as do the magical cities of Seville and Cordoba. The beaches of the Mediterrnean and the Atlantic are within an hour or two driving distance and a fast ferry ride will take you to the excitement of the souks of Tangier. The Roman ruins of Ronda La Vieja and the famed Paleolithic caves are both close at hand

Activities The beautiful countryside surrounding La Morera is perfect for exploring by bicycle with cycles available to hire in Ronda and we have two at the house Guy Hunter-Watts, whose books on walking in Spain are renowned, is close by and often available for advice or guided walks. Several tennis courts are available nearby; also canoeing, dinghy sailing, windsurfing 20 minutes away at Zahara. Hot air balloon rides are available locally for those keen to have a bird's eye view of the landscape, as is paragliding for the more energetic. Some of the best golf courses in the world are less than an hour away with a new one opening soon in the Ronda area. The Ascari race track, a fifteen minute drive, is an exciting venue providing an opportunity for larger groups to race a variety of vehicles (including F1!) Riding stables in our local village provide a number of horses for trekking in the Serrania de Ronda. Wind surfing at Tarifa and skiing in the Sierra Nevada are also possible.

Finca La Morera has featured in The Mail on Sunday as one of the ten best villa rentals in Spain and The Independent Traveller magazine recently listed the house in their selection of the five best Andalucian hideaways. The house was also a main feature in Country Homes & Interiors magazine in July 2007. Over the past three years we have received many accolades from our guests and several have returned to enjoy, once again, all that the house and this exciting part of Spain has to offer.
