Culebra house Rental Property Information

Zoni Beach House is situated 100 yards from the uncrowded, white sands and clear turquoise waters of Zoni Beach. It is on the undeveloped, windward side of Culebra where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Walk down your yard for a quiet moonlight stroll on the beach. Swim, boogie board and snorkel before a leisurely lunch on your shaded, breezy terrace looking out toward Culebrita, Cayo Norte and St. Thomas. Relax in the cooling tradewind breezes under the seagrape trees separating your yard from the beach or just bask in the sunshine on the soft, white sand. Let the sound of the ocean surf lull you to sleep. This peaceful, beachfront house is about 15 minutes from Culebra's only town, so a rental car is needed. It is the only one of its kind on the island. Although Zoni Beach is a nesting site for giant leatherback turtles, we rarely see these huge turtles laying since it happens at night.

Further Details for the house in Puerto Rico

Although the house consists of two separate units, only the upstairs unit is available for rent from early November through August. The whole house is no longer available to rent. Owner/caretakers reside in the downstairs unit from November through February. Since our domestic water source is rainfall captured in a cistern, we ask guests to be conservative with water use. Drinking water is purchased in town. Hot water is available only in the showers, typical of many island homes. Although the house is on the windward side of the island and is cooled by ocean breezes, portable fans are also available.

You decide how active you want to be on your vacation. Read, rest, take a nap on the beach or the terrace, listen to the birds and the surf. Snorkel, swim, play in the surf, walk or jog the length of beautiful Zoni Beach, or scramble on the rocks at the ends of the beach. Take a drive, tour our lovely island, and visit our world class beaches, go snorkeling and scuba diving, or kayaking and hiking. You can do something different every day of your visit or you can simply hang out at your house on the beach.
