Albarella is a private island, there are controls at the entrance and exit, as well as limitations on automobiles help to ensure that only those with permission have access to the island. This guarantees you and your children a maximum amount of security. Cottages and vacation homes are located here. Shopping centers, pharmacies, 11 restaurants and a number of cafes await visitors. There are also more than 18 different types of sports being offered, including club trainers. Cyclists and inline skaters are also great fans of the island (3,000 bicycles for rent and 80 km of private roads). The international entertainment team offers daily programs, many especially for children. These also include international artists performing music of all styles. The beach is 4 km long and has a number of bistros. It also offers plenty of space and solitude.

Albarella is a private island which is connected to the mainland by a causeway. It is located south of Venice in the Po Delta National Park. Two million trees and 150 different types of shrubs cover two thirds of the island with forest. Fallow deer, pheasants, hares, herons, hawks, little egret and Italian Motacillidae all have their natural habitats here. The entire island, including its waters, follows very strict nature reserve guidelines.

Golf Information: The Albarella Golf Club is one of the most famous in Italy, offering a much varied agenda of competitions. Its club trainer organizes lessons for players of all levels of ability. It also includes a large driving range with many covered tee areas, golf-cart rentals with parking and a well equipped pro shop. Sea-Link: the Albarella Golf Club’s 18 hole course, Sea Link, par 72, is one of Europe’s most beautiful courses. It combines the classic style of the British links with the splendid Venetian lagoon landscape. Laid out in 1972 by the British architect Harris, it spreads out amongst olive trees, tamarisks, and maritime pine. Characteristic of the 6 km long, 72-hectare course are a row of difficult water and sand traps.
