Vista Del Mondo-Country House, a large, beautifully restored palazzo, on top of a private mountain, is 7 miles from central Spoleto and 0.5 miles from the famous Giro D'Italia cycle race route, set in splendid grounds that give way to panoramic mountain and valley views all around. Snaking past the side of the house is the oldest pilgrim trail in Umbria that, in one direction leads to Rieti and Grecchio: and, in the other leads to Assisi. Indeed, last year, the house was blessed by the Bishop of Spoleto and a stone erected at the gate-post to mark the historic significance of this house and its location. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Spoleto, who wishes to include Vista Del Mondo and its surrounding pilgrim paths as part of Umbria's heritage trails. The whole area surrounding Vista Del Mondo is peppered with pilgrim trails and is perfect for those who love to walk in beauty. Posta Del Sole + Villa Marianna, both with private pools and both ours, are your only neighbours.

Vista Del Mondo-Country House consists of APT L + APT R, containing 4 sitting/dining rooms, inc 4 fitted kitchens/4 dble bedrooms, 4 bath-rms, 4 hair-dryers, 4 washing machines + 4TV/DVDs. There is a private pool (120 sq mts) at Villa Marianna, another of our properties, 0.5 miles away. You can walk or go by mountain bike through spectacular scenery and woods. And, the guests of Vista Del Mondo have access to this pool, all day, every day. Next to the pool is a very large fenced area for the use of children with swings and climbing frames etc. Naturally, children of the guests at Vista Del Mondo also have full-time access to this play area too. Villa Marianna consists of 5 apts. Please note that there is a toilet next to the pool. Please book a child's high-chair in advance - no extra charge. A mobile tel is provided for a refundable deposit of 100 euros - pay as you go.
