La Pieve is a centuries old, renovated farmhouse complex made of natural stone- a typical ‘Rustico’- in a quiet and isolated spot in the well wooded and hilly area 35 km (21 mi) south west of Siena. The estate is surrounded by a large outdoor area with a 6 x 12 m (20 by 40 ft) pool. From there you have a beautiful view of the pictorial landscape. At la Pieve 2 holiday flats are for hire: La Pieve with 4 bedrooms for 7 persons and La Pieve Dependence, a little chalet with 1 bedroom for 2 persons. They can be rent separately or together. Each apartment has its own equipped area. The flats are renovated in the typical Tuscany style with terra-cotta floors, visible timber roofs and likable furniture.

The flat La Pieve, 120 sqm ( 1300 sqf) is in the main buildings 1st floor which you reach through outside stairs. You first arrive in the spaciously combined cooking-, dining and living area, which is only optically separated by the original round arch. The dining area with a long table is beside the open kitchen (gas stove, baking oven). Beautiful and dominant is the big original fire place. The living area is very stylish and comfortable with nice sofas. Furthermore La Pieve has 3 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms.

La Pieve is located between Siena and the Tyrrhenian Sea near Follonica. It is central in a large estate, surrounded by a pictorial landscape with meadows, fields, forests of chestnut- and holm oak trees. The area is ideal for Biking (very few traffic) and Hiking. The next village with a little ‘Alimentari’ (shop) is 2 km (1,2 mi) away. Further shopping, bar, restaurants, mail office, bank and pharmacy is in Chiusdino, 9 km (5,6 mi). The approach to La Pieve is via 800 m (0,5 mi) of graven road.
