There is easy access to Siena, Florence and Volterra. The main house has just been equipped with a brand new marble and terracotta kitchen & terrace, with BBQ and outside dining furniture & views. The second house, the newly converted barn, is self-contained, and also has patios with views on which to dine! Barn and house can be rented together or separately (if separately, there is the possibility that the pool might be shared).

The whole property is a private 17-acre estate in Tuscany which includes a luxury private swimming pool set in a terracotta terrace with wonderful views, and two separate houses - the Tuscan farmhouse villa and the converted barn. Between them they have 7 bedrooms, and sleep 15. The villa has four bedrooms upstairs, including two double bedrooms that have particularly splendid views over Tuscany. There is a bathroom with a shower, bath, bidet and WC; there is also another separate WC with basin. The farmhouse villa comfortably sleeps 8 or 9, and can sleep 11 if you use the outside bedroom, which is a sweet bedroom with its own path and door, that is approached from the outside; this has two single beds in it. Just across the way is the converted barn, which is gorgeous, and sleeps four - master bedroom upstairs; two singles downstairs. The converted barn has its own kitchen, etcetera. Barn and farmhouse villa together comfortably accommodate 15.

The main house: The main house was built in the 19th century and is a picturesque, typical Tuscan farmhouse. The farm is still called by its original name of 'Docciola', which refers to the spring ('doccia') in the middle of the land which in all weathers produces pure and cool water. The living-room (30 x 20 feet) has an open wood-beam fireplace for burning wood in winter and spring, and is furnished with sofas, chairs and a large dining table. As mentioned above, there is now a brand new marble and terracotta kitchen with superb views, with doors leading to an outdoor terrace.

Bedrooms: Upstairs in the main house are four bedrooms, two have double beds and two have two single beds. On the same floor there is a large bathroom with bath and shower and toilet as well as a separate wc. There is additionally a double bedroom reached from the outside at the side of the house.

Barn: The barn has just been converted to a high standard. It is a traditional Tuscan building, restored and converted into extra self-contained accommodation. It consists of a kitchen, a sitting and dining-room, and two bedrooms. The smaller bedroom is on the ground level near the bathroom which has shower, basin, bidet and loo; the double bedroom, reached by a pretty spiral wrought-iron staircase, has a particularly lovely outlook across the fields.
