A short distance away we find the Abbey of S. Podernovo di Monticiano is situated 35 km south-west of Siena in the Natural Park of the Farma & Merse Rivers. The estate stands in a quite and secluded position only five minutes away on foot from the village of Monticiano. From Podernovo you can visit easily lovely medieval villages such as Colle Val d’Elsa (30 min by car), S.
