GREAT WINTER OFFERS! The Villa 'Under the Olives', was the ex-imperial residence, in Liguria of the famous British Consul Hope. It is placed in an exclusive and luxurious zone of principally bel epoque villas 5 minutes to town . In a commanding position overlooking the Mediterranean, the villa has been altered only to add comfort, otherwise the colonial style of great elegance remains, enhanced by beautiful antique furniture and modern appliances. The villa is enriched by the use of marble and parquet. Running outside the whole of the front, is a large seaward looking terrace of over 100 m. Private and tranquil, the enormous terrace overlooks its beautiful park which runs down towards the sea. Here there is every sort of fruit tree, peaches, banana and nespole abound in this paradise of tropical plants. There is private parking for over ten cars, the whole of the villa is air conditioned. Sanremo, Liguria is on the border of Italy with France. It is about half an hours drive from Montecarlo and less than an hour to Nice. Genova the main town of the province of Liguria is just over an hours drive. The A10 motorway runs from the South of France , passing Sanremo and then on to Genova. From here Milan is an hour and a half by car. Savona links Liguria by motorway directly to Torino, some 2 hours by car from Sanremo.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • We do offer (as from October) long weekends (from Thursdays / Fridays to Sundays)!!! Dont forget that flights to Genoa are very cheap throughout the winter ..
    1) A charge of Euro 30 per person is charged for general cleaning and laundry.
    2)There is a cautionary deposit against damages of EURO 1000 to be returned at the end of your stay.
    3) In the winter months central heating is charged by actual meter consumption.In the summer the air conditioning is paid by meter consumption
    4) In the case of late cancellation (21 days prior to arrival) the full rental rate is applicable.
    5) Arrival times are 15.30 to 19.30.
    Departure time is not later then 09.30.

Sanremo, Liguria is renowned for its entertainment. The music festival is in February, the International Firework Festival in July, the historic car rally in March etc. The summer season features live entertainment every night with live bands, fashion shows, open theatre and concerts. In particular for both children and adults there is continuous entertainment free all summer long. Sanremo, Liguria has its own casino but is 15 minutes drive to Montecarlo, to visit the Casino or also perfect for the Grand Prix. The South of France and its amenities are 20 minutes by car. The town has unrivalled shopping facilities, especially its twice-weekly market.Contrastingly its surrounding mountains offer winter skiing only an hour distant at Limone Piemonte. The coast of Liguria offers whale and dolphin watching by boat and beautiful sandy beaches for lovers of the sun and water activities. The surrounding mountains of Liguria allow visitors to explore the ancient olive trails, where the hidden medieval villages once a centre of which hunting, offer untouched medieval architecture. Whilst on the nature trails in the Maritime Alps, summer visitors can swim in rocky pools in the mountain streams or walk surrounded by butterflies

The course is used by many international champions and it is one of the very few golf courses in northern Italy that is open throughout the year, due to the exceptional winter climate.
