The apartment is located on the south edge of Warnstedt in a former barn of a renovated Farmhouse. This home is comfortably furnished for up to 7 persons. There are 3 bedrooms, a large bath with a shower and a winter garden in a 94 square meter space. Bed linens are provided. The American style kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, oven, and refrigerator. A washing machine is also available. The south-facing rooms all have a view of the Devil's Wall, the Bode Valley, the “Witches' Dancing Place” and the infamous “Rosstrappe” rising above a large garden and orchard. Warnstedt today is a quaint 1000 year-old village with a few shops, a hotel, a restaurant and a pub. Recently it has been incorporated into the larger town of Thale, fully modernized with many services. Visitors are only a few steps from the geological curiosity “Devil's Wall” and only 4 km from numerous recreational opportunities in the romantic Bode Valley. Brocken Mountain is under an hour's drive away.

Warnstedt itself is over 1000 years old. Landmarks include the local windmill and the ancient church steeple. Currently the Windmill hosts an exhibit of local artefacts recently dug up that were found to be over 6000 years old. Less than 300 meters from the apartment stands a large part of the legendary Devil's Wall. Warnstedt also benefits from a new motorway that speeds travel time to and from points East and West.
