This 13th century Hamlet offers accommodation in 4 properties set in its own private grounds of 9 acres of lawn, mature trees, private 12 meter pool and 2 meter high Laural Hedge. There are facilities for everybody to eat together: Outside under large canvas parasols,overlooking the gardens and pool.or inside in one of the Manoir with there oak beams and large stone fire-places. All properties are fully modenised and fully fitted so each party group can be independent. Originally built by English soldiers in the 13th century, this unique and distinctive property is the perfect place to relax or to celebrate in private and unspoilt setting.. To the rear of the property is a bridle way, which meanders through meadows and woods to the village of Lauzun. About a Mile up the road is the pretty Hill top village of Lalandusse, which still has a bar-restaurant. There is a new supper market opened,10 mins away. And a variety of local vine-yards about 3 mins away.

Nestled between the Bastide towns of Eymet and Castillonnes, Lalandusse is on the borders of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne set in the midle of the medieval Bastide towns of Eymet, Castillonnes and Issegac. To the north is the Fairy tale castle of Monbazillac overlooking Bergerac, famous for its cuisine and wine, as appreciated by 'Cyrano de Bergerac'. The airport is just 15 mins away. The property is secluded in its own grounds with a 3 meter high hedge. Surrounded by farms and vineyards,but only 10 mis to the local supermarket, All local towns have market days, and most have some special events throughout the summer, we supply books with all local events and activities from 'Parc en ciel' (Adventure park in the trees) to Castles and canoing.

  • Changeover days are Saturdays, arriving after 4 in the afternoon, and departure before 10 in the morning. This is to give time for cleaning and changing Beds etc. It is not a problem if you arrive early or depart later but you will have to give way to hovers and bed linen.

All properties have stunning views from the windows. There are two Barbecue areas, both overlooking the river and wooded islands. All direct access to the river water is fenced. The pool is protected with an electronic alarm. The manor house has large stone Fireplaces, Oak beams and white stonewalls. The dinning kitchen area is area is approx 60sq meters i.e. it can seat a large number of people. We have tables and seating for 40 people. (we have had 100) Cycle hire can be arranged.
