Adjacent to our own house we offer three completely self contained gites. All are fitted to a high standard, and we are here to ensure you have a super self catering holiday. Our 200 year old property is set in the rolling hills of north Dordogne, with far reaching views over the peaceful countryside. With village shops just 4 k away providing the basics, one can relax and unwind, find a shady corner in the extensive gardens or cool off with a dip in the owner's pool. Alternatively, there are many interesting, towns and villages nearby. If you like to explore chateaux, caves and caverns, prehistoric sites or vineyards, all are within easy reach. Golf, fishing and canoeing are nearby and on site we offer table tennis, badminton and a mini gym. It is the perfect base for house hunting or holidays in the Perigord Vert. Reduced rates for longer lets and winter breaks. We welcome Cheques Vacancies.

A cheerful kitchen/living room is accessed up four steps from a sunny courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven. There is a T.V, midi hi fi, DVD player, lots of games and library. A double sofa bed can provide extra sleeping accommodation. A characterful and romantic bedroom furnished with antique French furniture and a modern bathroom with fully tiled shower, w.c. and basin complete this home from home. The patio, gardens and the owners pool can be accessed directly from a rear door. The gite has central heating and a large open fireplace, making it an ideal base for winter house hunting.

A quiet rural area with sunflowers, maize and cereal crops. The area teems with birds and wildlife. Within easy reach of the department capital, Perigueux, with its beautifully restored old town and modern shopping areas. The historic towns of Bourdeilles, Brantome, or Aubetterre can be explored in a morning, leaving plenty of time for relaxing and cooling off in the owners pool. Further afield the vine culture of Bergerac and Bordeaux and the distilleries at Cognac make an interesting day out. The prehistoric sites of the Dordogne valley vie with Chateaux, river trips, pretty sleepy villages, great restaurants and colourful markets, a week will not be enough!
