Details for Winter and summer dream 2 in Finland

Winter dream 2 is “the small sister”, 150 m away. Both houses share a property of 1,5 hectare and can be reached on a private street. The furniture is modern and high-quality. As in all “winter dream houses”, the kitchen is equipped with Miele devices that would make any hobby cook happy. The living room is furnished with comfortable design furniture, combined with Finish massive wood furniture (the dining table). For music lovers, we have a B & O stereo system with CD collection of classic and pop. There is also a satellite TV and a DVD player, with a big film collection. We also put a washing machine and a drier at your disposal. There is a large sauna.

Rental Rates for Winter and summer dream 2 in Finland



Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Included in the rental rates are many extra services: In the winter you will be greeted with a welcome – dinner, and in the refrigerator you will find a food package. We put complete polar clothing at your disposal during the whole vacation, as well as cross country skiing equipment. To our services belong also 2 individual guided trips (3 - 4 hours), by husky sleds and snowmobiles, with a group of maximum 8 people. The lunch will also be served. All the extra costs (including fire wood and final cleaning) are included. During your entire vacation, family Temmes is at your disposal, ready to help you out and to give advice. We are talking about a highly comfortable vacation property, and not a maximal “do-it-yourself” vacation apartment. Services in the summer: instructions, Canadian canoe, towels and linen, unlimited sauna usage, final cleaning and all the electricity costs.
  • The prices are valid for 2 people. Extra costs for the 3rd and 4th person are: between November, 13th and December 18th and from April, 3rd until April, 30th 590,- € respectively (including all the tourist guided tours and services). Further prices from December, 18th until January, 9th 850,- €, respectively, from January, 9th until February, 12th 740,- €, respectively, and from February, 12th until April, 3rd 790,- € respectively. Costs for further guests in the summer: early season (May, 1st - May, 20th), for 3 to 4 people, 95,- € per person, main season 1 (June, 24th – August, 5th), for 3 to 4 guests, 145,- € per person, main season 2 (August, 5th – September, 16th), for 3 to 4 guests, 135,- € per person, for low season (October, 7th – November, 25th), for 3 to 4 guests, 105,- € per person.
  • Children up to 4 are our guests for free. Children between 4 and14 have a 50 % discount.

We guarantee top-quality furniture and equipment, like in all winter dream houses. There is designer furniture combined with typical Finish massive wood furniture (dining table, beds, closets). A welcome dinner is included in the basic price, inclusive dinner wine. Besides there is also a food package, so you don’t need to go shopping right away. Further dinners can be booked. In our winter dream offer, there are also 2 trips with lunch included (picnic for the husky sleds tour, and camp fire for the snowmobile tour).

Further Details for Winter and summer dream 2 in Finland

Arrival You can go via Helsinki by Finnair to Kittilä (alternative airport Rovaniemi is approx. 200 km away.), and by renting car or shuttle, approx. 50 km from the airport to the Winter dream houses. In the summer, you go by ferry from Travemünde or Rostock to Helsinki. Further on, you can take the motorail train to Kolari or Rovaniemi. Over the country way, you can go via Denmark or Sweden. (From Hamburg, there are approx. 2500 km.)

Skiing Information: This is a cross country skiing paradise (approx. 120 km of well kept cross country ski runs), with snow until the beginning of May. The illuminated cross country ski runs in Olos (aapprox. 15 minutes by car) and Jeris (approx. 10 minutes by car) are very beautiful. Directly in front of the “winter dream” houses, there is a private cross country ski run of approx. 12 km (suitable weather provided. However, it cannot be used when windy). Cross country skiing equipment is available. Levi- Finland’s largest ski region is only a 30 minute drive away (over 20 slopes, from blue to black, i.e. all levels of proficiency). Levi corresponds to the standards of many ski resorts in the Alps. More comfortable, but still with numerous ski slopes is Ylläas (30 minutes away). The most quiet ski resorts are Olos (approx. 15 minutes away), with 3 ski lifts and Pallas (in the middle of the National Park), with 2 lifts (approx. 20 minutes away). Alpine equipments can be rented in any ski region.
