Sea Horse Ranch is located just 8 kms from the center of town, and provides a luxury environment that you could choose to not leave during your stay, or to use as a home base for your forays into Cabarete and beyond. Sea Horse has it's own ocean-side restaurant, but there are a number of good restaurants in town as well. The surrounding area offers canyoning, mountain biking, golf and casinos. Sea Horse has tennis and horseback riding on-site.

Golf Details There are two important Golf courses near Sea Horse Ranch. The first is the Playa Grance Golf Resort, the most stunningly beautiful course in the Dominican Republic and the last course to be designed by Robert Trent Jones. Call our office to arrange for tee times and transportation. There is also a Robert Trent Jones course in Playa Dorada, a mere twenty minutes away. This course is under new management as of 2005 and is being upgraded. These two courses together offer a variety of play for the avid golfer.

Sports The cabarets area has a well-deserved reputation for the adventure capital of the Caribbean. Although most sports are centered around the consistent off-shore wind (Kitesurfing and Windsurfing) There is also surfing at Playa Encuentro, Horse back riding, mountain biking, canyoning, wake-boarding, skateboarding, scuba-diving and if you are willing to take a day trip, whale watching & white river rafting.

Dining-Nightlife-Casinos There are many restaurants turned night-life hot spots after 10pm. There is nothing like walking along the beach and choosing your preferred environment for dining or dancing. For gamblers, there are two Casinos in Cabarete, one just opened in 2006.
