This beautifully landscaped, historic home features lovely gardens, a pond and a waterfall. A private entrance leads to your fully-furnished, decorated, second floor sun room apartment with hardwood floors. For your comfort and enjoyment we supply satellite TV and air-conditioning. Outside you'll find a gas barbecue and a private gazebo. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, a private balcony, and an en suite bath. The second bedroom has a queen and a bunk bed, plus an en suite bath. Weekly renters supply their own bedding & towels. The Lake Huron sand beach is just two blocks away. Activities to enjoy within walking distance include the historical Chantry Island Lighthouse tours, large museum, shopping, the art school (sign up for art classes), walking or bike trails (Rail Trail & Bruce Trail), town walking tours, outdoor concerts, weekly classic car show and churches. Fine dining, European bakery, antique shops and unique shopping are all within a block.

Southampton is a tourist town on the shores of Lake Huron. The Saugeen River ,with great fishing,flows through town with its mouth opening into a harbour with fishing tugs and pleasure sail boats docked at the public dock. The town is noted for the fantastic sunsets, weekly antique car gatherings, art school, sand beaches and world class museum. The escarpment in nearby with hiking on the Bruce Trail.
