Owls Head Retreat is a privately owned facility on a small rugged island jutting 15 kilometers out in St Margaret’s Bay. It is joined by a bridge to the mainland at Southwest Cove, which is approximately 80 kilometers from Halifax, Nova Scotia; near Northwest Cove and the Aspotogan Peninsula. Enjoy the breath taking ocean views of St. Margaret’s Bay; as well as Shut In Island and Peggy’s Cove on the opposite side of the shore. A peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of our hectic and busy city lives; offering its guests cathedral ceilings, sky lights, a beach-stone fireplace, gourmet kitchen, Jacuzzi and wrap-around decks with a hammock that is guaranteed to put you to sleep.
