Located in the Canadian Gulf Islands -- between Vancouver and Victoria, this oceanfront vacation home offers a modern, fully-equipped kitchen, a seaside patio, and a wood-burning fireplace. Stairs lead to the beach and a sun deck at the water's edge. Pender Island is a beautiful, natural, west coast setting with a mild Mediterranean climate and a peaceful, slower pace of life. Fill your day watching eagles, seals, otters, and whales. Explore the seashore or sit in the sun with a good book. As the day draws to an end, enjoy the spectacular sunset. Hike our many parks and trails. Explore the shoreline by kayak. Take a boat tour, play a round of golf, or sample the wines from our nearby wineries. Take a day to visit the quaint capital city of Victoria and the famous Butchart Gardens or spend a day island hopping to the nearby islands. Our vacation destination offers an oceanfront main home and an oceanfront sleeping cottage. Guests may rent only the main house (which accommodates up to four people) or both the house and cottage (which accommodates six guests total). Families with older children or grandparents wishing to enjoy their own space will appreciate the separate cottage. The property is only rented to one party at a time, to ensure your privacy. The home's main floor offers an open-plan kitchen, and dining and living areas where you can enjoy the spectacular ocean views. A dishwasher, microwave, washer, and dryer are provided for your convenience. There is one bedroom with comfortable twin beds, and one bathroom on the main level. On the ground level there's a second bedroom which has a sea view and a queen-size bed.
You'll be lulled to sleep by the waves that lap below your window. The sleeping cottage is adjacent to the main house, and offers a queen-size bed and its own bathroom. Tall paned windows frame the spectacular ocean views. There is also a deck to enjoy the marine activity. For boaters, there is a mooring bouy in the bay for your use. A dingy would be needed to reach the deck at the shoreline. The deck over the water is also a perfect place for kayakers to keep their kayaks. If you are travelling with young children, the stairs to the beach are steep and sundeck over the water is not fenced, so children must be supervised. Pets are welcome, subject to our pet policy. A refundable security deposit is required. For the benefit of both guests and the owner, guests must complete a rental agreement.
