Near a commercial fishing village, Tarpum Bay 9 mi, where all types of seafood can be bought. Eleuthera is rated by the Bahamians as the island with the best beaches in the Bahamas. Including Ten Bay Beach. A family island. Very safe. More than any place in the US. People sincerely friendly, and like Americans.
