Dar Aicha, the Marrakech home of an English artist, is an intimate and enchanting small palace, filled with light and beauty and situated at the heart of the old medina of Marrakech. Located at the end of a short cul-de-sac, off the main passage-way leading into the souk, it is a few minutes walk from the square, the renowned Djemaa el Fna. The house is a traditional Dar, built around an open courtyard, with an upper level and an attractive roof terrace garden with an al fresco dining area for those warm evenings. Meals: Delicious Moroccan cuisine is prepared by Madame Zahra, our welcoming housekeeper/cook. Prices: 200 dirhams, per person, per day for full board (about £12.50 Sterling, wine extra). Or: breakfast: 30 dirhams, lunch 70 dirhams, dinner 100 dirhams. These costs to be paid daily in the local currency directly to the house manager. The charming house manager, Samir, who speaks English and French, will collect you from the airport and serve at table. He will arrange any excursions and accompany you, if required . He is always happy to answer queries and ensure that your visit is a memorable one. Personal laundry: included in the rental and done by Madame Zahra. Strictly no smoking in bedrooms - all damages to be paid for
